Su autor es el fil\u00f3sofo y economista ingl\u00e9s John Stuart Mill (1806-1873), uno de los intelectuales l\u00edderes de su tiempo y fi gura sobresaliente de la filosof\u00eda utilitarista y la escuela cl\u00e1sica de econom\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Escrito con destreza y vigor, Sobre la libertad plantea el asunto de modo aparentemente tajante: si la conducta de las personas no afecta a terceros, su libertad de pensamiento y acci\u00f3n debe ser completa.
